Argiano Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a very oaky wine with the taste red fruit and some spices. It is elegent with the scent of toasted almonds and chocolate. This wine is best paired with Lamb or beef and should not be drunken immediately, at leats a hour should be left before drinking.

This outstanding red wine is a quite recent expression of Argiano’s viticultural potential in relation to red wines made with Sangiovese. ‘Solengo’, which is Tuscan for “lone wild boar”, is the product of the combination between Tuscan soil and French grape-varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah. It is the fruit of the “creation” of the internationally acclaimed former oenologist GiacomoTachis, which now continues with the work of Argiano’s team.

Lifted fresh red and black fruits, layered with autumnal notes and spice from some whole bunch fermentation. Juicy and red fruited, with a plush and supple palate. There is a hint of spice and fresh herbs from the whole bunch component and the mouthwatering natural acidity and fine tannins result in a textural and long lasting finish.

Lifted fresh strawberry and cranberry aromas, with hints of rose petal and creamy biscuit notes. Crunchy fresh raspberries and stonefruits are delicately balanced with a creamy supple mouthfeel from the bottle fermentation. The low dosage carries the crisp clean finish.

This is a light to medium bodied red wine best served slightly chilled on a warm day or room temperature on a cold day. It’s a wine to be enjoyed on release rather than cellared. Lifted florals and aromas of fresh strawberries and red jubes, a result of the carbonic maceration. Bright, fresh and crunchy, this light bodied wine is perfect slightly chilled. Full of juicy red berry flavours with a hint of Campari bitterness.

Lifted white peach, yellow nectarine and fresh pineapple marry with a hint of florals and spice from the French oak. The palate is fresh and tight, dominated by stone fruits, citrus and green melon. A bright acid profile and some textural phenolics are balanced with the subtle French oak which provides a softness and carries the flavours across the palate.

Full aromas of sweet summer red fruits meld with a touch of spice from Syrah and the plummy notes of Merlot in this 2016 release. A portion of the blend was held on lees in barrel for several months to enhance texture and develop the deliciously creamy, supple palate that finishes dry and long.
